Dear Parents and Students,
Please allow me to introduce myself. I have been a teacher with the Los Angeles Unified School District for the past 26 years, beginning in January of 1983. For the past 10 years I have been primarily involved in Educational Technology, either as a teacher or advisor. I have worked primarily with introductory computer classes, as my background, until joining LACES, has been middle and elementary school.
I teach the Middle School, Introduction to Computer classes here at LACES, as well as the High School Web Development class.
Generally, you will find that my Assignments, Projects and other Documents can be downloaded using the links from my web pages.
You will usually need MicroSoft Word, PowerPoint and the Adobe Reader or comparable programs to view these files.
My Parent Letter, Safety Pledge and AUP Documents are required to be signed and returned. Students receive points for returning these documents in a timely manner. One point is deducted for each day they are late.
As the year progresses, additional useful links, files and information will become available here.
Currently, you will find links to free online typing tutors. They're free, check them out! I strongly recommend that your children develop their typing skills to the best of their ability.
