About Us

HUGS is an organization found at Los Angeles Center for Enriched Studies. Members of HUGS make a solemn commitment to giving hugs to people who need them. By giving hugs, they spread joy and happiness throughout LACES students everywhere. Because of HUGS's dedication, students can find the willpower to survive each day and even enjoy them.

HUGS members meet every Tuesday at Lunchtime in Ms. Derdzinske's classroom (Room 162). Anyone from grades 6-12 are eligible to join.
