We founded this club at the begining of the 2009-2010 school year at L.A.C.E.S magnet school. The president of this club is Daniel Katz, and the meetings take place in Ms.Seligs room which is room 233. The day we meet is Thursday. We encourage all students to come to the club and talk about sports.
Our vision for the MultiCultural Sports Alliance was to get everyone involved in talking about sports. There really hasn't been a "staple" club at L.A.C.E.S that allows students to come and discuss everything sports, and we wanted to strive for that.
We in fact do go on a few field trips a year. In the school year 2009-2010 we attended a Defenders game & a basketball game. Although it is NOT during the school day & will cost a small amount of money it is a great chance for the club to get out and watch sports.
