What to examine in your Hero Essay

For your essay, you will be looking at both Beowulf and a Hero of your choice in order to determine which hero is the True hero. You will be writing a compare and contrast essay, and should examine each hero through the following lenses:
 
1. The Warrior/Hero Code
2. The Hero Cycle
3. Their character traits (morality, kindness...)
4. Their successes or failures
5. Their relevancy
6. How/Whether they reflect the values of society
