SCHOOLOGY UPDATE #3!
Hi Parents...good news! WE CAN USE THE APP! Here is what you need to do to use the app:
1. Log into passport.lausd.net (The Parent Portal).
2. Click on Grades/Assignments.
3. Click on any one of the student classes and, as you know, this will take you to Schoology.
4. In Schoology, in the upper right hand corner, click on the arrow and go to Account Settings.
5. Change your password. This will now allow you to sign into the mobile app without going into the parent portal each time.
6. Once you have changed your password, you need to open the app and select "sign in with email" NOT "sign in with user id"...voila!
7. Once you have logged in, if you haven't joined the LACES Parent/ Community Group, please do so as this will become our main means of digital communication again.
8. Click on Groups on the top bar.
9. Click on Join.
10. Enter Access Code: NDGJV-6HDW2
11. Click Join.
12. Give yourself a pat on the back!
