Congratulations to Pearl Thompson for being selected a National YoungArts Foundation winner. YoungArts named 787 winners from 47 states, selected from a pool of more than 11,000 applications nationawide. The winners were chosen through a multi-tiered, blind adjudication process and evaluated by celebrated masters in their artistic fields.
Over the past three decades, YoungArts has awarded more than $15 million in monetary awards and facilitated in excess of $60 million in college scholarship opportunities. At the request of The Commission on Presidential Scholars, which is appointed by the President of the United States, YoungArts is also the exclusive path to the U.S. Presidential Scholars in the Arts awards.
