Hello LACES Families,

Welcome to the 2025- 2026 school year! Friends of Laces (FOL) is LACES’ parent-run booster club – created with the sole purpose of bolstering the goals of LACES students and faculty with events, projects, fundraisers and volunteers. We believe that supportive parents create successful students – and eventually thriving, young adults. 

If you are a LACES parent, you are automatically a member of FOL! (See how easy that was?) And we hope that you’ll join us for a meeting soon to find out more about what’s happening at our school and how you can get involved. We meet the second Friday of the month at 8:30 AM in the Parent Center, but you can also catch the meetings via Zoom or even watch the recorded version later. 

We want to encourage every parent to find their place within Friends of LACES. With volunteer opportunities on campus or from home, during the week or on the weekend, before school or after – there is a committee or job for everyone’s availability and interest. It’s all the skills, talents and parents’ party tricks that allow us to prop up the entire LACES community. 

And even when your kid doesn’t think you’re cool, we promise that we will.
